Bilingual SEO Health Writer, Strategist & Editor (EN/FR)

Founder of Bioty Healthcare

Hi, I’m Val.

I help health brands get found, cited, and trusted in search and AI discovery.

With a background in biomedical engineering and over ten years in healthcare marketing, I build SEO strategies and create trusted health content in a warm, compassionate voice.

In English or French, my focus is the same: evidence first, empathy always, strategy throughout.

Why Health Brands Trust My Work

I care deeply about getting health content right, because behind every search is a real person looking for answers.

As a business owner, I approach your brand with the same care and long-term mindset I apply to my own, always with your reputation in mind.

Demonstrated SEO Growth

My clients reported high-quality enquiries and sales generated through strategic SEO blog content.

Trusted by Recognized Brands

I worked with more than 15 clients, including nonprofits like MedTech Europe, and international health brands who rely on accuracy and credibility. I’ve been working with some clients for more than 2 years.

Science & Marketing Background

I’m a biomedical engineer with more than 10 years in healthcare marketing before specializing in SEO health writing in 2022.
I understand both the science and the business behind health content.

Bilingual English & French Delivery

I provide SEO strategy and my portfolio includes content in English and French.

I adapt to cultural nuances and have worked with the UK, US, Canadian and French markets.

Who I Work With

I partner with health-focused teams who care about credibility, doing things properly, and sustainable growth - in a way that feels right.

My Little Story

2009-2012

In 2009, I completed my MSc in Biomedical Engineering in France and moved to London to begin my career in healthcare marketing.

At the time, I had no idea how international my life would become.

Over the next few years, I worked in healthcare sales and marketing roles in the UK.

My story in video

2013- 2021

In 2013, I made a big leap: I moved to Hong Kong.

I didn’t speak the language. I didn’t have a network. So I started from scratch.

To support myself, I taught French while studying Mandarin. And slowly, I built my place in the industry.

By 2014, I had secured a product management role. Over the following years, my responsibilities grew. I worked in regional medical marketing roles across Asia-Pacific, including leadership positions at medical device and pharmaceutical companies in Hong Kong.

During that time, I collaborated closely with clinicians, distributors, and key opinion leaders.

I helped develop medical education materials, supported expert panels, and contributed to work that led to a published consensus statement in the Journal of Anesthesia, Analgesia and Critical Care in 2022.

At the same time, I continued investing in my education. I completed an executive program in Business Strategy at INSEAD and later studied Digital Marketing at London Business School.

2022 - Today

After more than a decade in healthcare marketing, I founded Bioty Healthcare.

I wanted to focus fully on one thing: helping health information become easier to find, easier to trust, and more responsible online.

Since then, I’ve worked with nonprofit organizations such as MedTech Europe, and international health brands including Soundsory, Rise Science, and NuBest Nutrition. My work has also been featured in the Medical Writer Magazine, Swaay Health, MedTech Europe’s content platform, Write Clinic, and industry SEO expert round-ups like Collaborator or Mintposition.

Alongside client work, I now teach and speak about SEO, credibility, and AI search visibility for health writers and content teams, including collaborations with professional associations such as the EMWA and the EFA.

Today, I work in English and French, combining science, strategy, and empathy, but I speak Spanish too.

Beyond Work

A woman in outdoor hiking gear standing on rocky terrain in a mountain landscape, pointing to a sign that reads 'Parque Nacional' with mountains and a blue sky in the background.

Outside of work, I’m happiest outdoors. I love hiking, trail running and being close to wildlife.

I’ve practiced Japanese martial arts for 10 years, which led me to develop a passion for Japan and Japanese food in particular !

I’m also drawn to minimalism and creative hobbies, like photography or creating fusion recipes that blend Nepalese and French cuisines (yummy, and yes, I’m still French after all!).

I love traveling and discovering new cultures. Seeing how other people live and think has shaped who I am, and it helps me connect more deeply to my audience, too.
