    Professional medical writing associations like the AMWA, IMWA or EMWA offer:

    ·       Networking & potential job leads

    ·       Industry standards & ethics guidance

    ·       Short workshops and webinars

    ·       Credibility when pitching clients or employers

    ·       Opportunities to meet in face-to-face conferences (the main reason why I’m considering joining one)

    They work best alongside or after training.
